Questions and Answers

How can you help reduce or eliminate my pain?

The unique approach that I use to reduce or eliminate your pain always includes treating not only the body, but the emotions and spirit as well.

For example, I had a client suffering from chronic abdominal pain and constipation. He had been through extensive testing but his doctors could find no real cause of either his pain or his constipation.  While treating him with myofascial and cranio-sacral techniques, it became apparent that his issues were a result of suppressed anger from an unfortunate event as a child.  We did some emotional releases and supplemented him with magnesium, phosphatidyl serine and some herbal extracts.  After just a few weeks, his years long abdominal pain and constipation resolved!  His doctor took him off all of his medications and he has remained pain-free ever since.

Another example of how important it is to take a whole body approach is the story of Mike.  This fine young man was injured playing football several years ago.  His knee pain subsided with time but for the past 18 months he has had a persistent neck pain.  His doctors, physical therapists and chiropractor all examined and treated him for his neck pain.  No matter what they did, his neck pain would not go away.  When I saw him, he was obviously in pain from his neck.  His head was tilted to the side and he grimaced when he moved.  Instead of treating his neck like so many others had, I decided to begin working on the knee that had been injured.  By the time I got to working on his lower back and pelvis, he exclaimed that his neck pain had vanished!

Stephanie had severe carpal tunnel syndrome for years.  It woke her from sleep and kept her from working. She had a hard time just brushing her teeth and combing her hair. It seemed that there was hardly an area of her life that was not affected adversely by her condition.  She tried everything, even cortisone injections to her wrists, and nothing seemed to help for any length of time.  I saw her only a few times and never worked on her wrists; rather I approached her from a whole body perspective. Within three visits she was able to sleep at night and not awaken from pain, she went back to work and doing her usual daily activities without pain.

What kind of pain can you fix?

The pains that I can fix are in two categories:  injury and emotional pain or pain as a result of stress.

What types of injuries or pain have you been successful at treating?

One of the most interesting areas that respond exceptionally well are the problems of childhood, such as ADD/ADHD, moodiness, GERD (gastro-esophogeal reflux disease), constipation, sudden behavior changes, and more.  I have also been successful with adults in treating sports injuries and trauma, back strain, arthritis, headaches and injuries from car accidents such as whiplash.

What types of injuries or pain have you not been successful at treating?

Cancer pain, pain as a result of self-destructive factors and when the client, for whatever reason, is unable to comply with any instructions.

How can you advise me nutritionally?

You will be given advice on which vitamins and herbs to take and you will also receive some instruction on how diet may be affecting your condition.  You will also be given instructions on which exercises to do.
